Procure to Pay Subject Matter Expert
Based in Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes, with the flexibility of hybrid working (requirement of a minimum of 3 days office based for this role)

Offer the expert advice our business users need
As a Procure to Pay Subject Matter Expert working for our global organisation, you’ll join a small, close-knit and highly supportive team, and work on the day-to-day running, maintenance and set-up of our ERP System, which include Accounts Payable, Expenses, Procurement, Inventory and Travel Package. You’ll also be ready to provide specialist advice to our users while ensuring you keep up-to-speed with changes in our business environment and the latest developments in Oracle.
You’ll have a wide range of additional responsibilities – these include modifying the P2P module configuration as required, and ensuring the system is up to date and reflects our organisation’s structure, processes and policies. We’ll also expect you to identify and correct P2P exceptions and update guidance and training material if necessary, and complete the Accounts Payable/Cost Management month-end close processes. The investigation of expenses, procurement and invoice approval workflow exceptions will be another key task, and involves the identification of anomalies and determining corrective action to ensure workflows complete successfully.

To be a success in this vital role you will need the ability to organise and prioritise while working to tight deadlines, and the skills to quantify and manipulate data and identify anomalies. It’s important that you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are ready to work as a collaborative member of a supportive team, and are capable of interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders.
A keen learner and logical problem-solver with the ability to provide practical solutions for our customers, you’ll be capable of taking the initiative, responding to business service requirements and managing workloads effectively. You should also possess strong numerical and analytical skills and well developed knowledge of MS Excel and Word, while experience of using ERP software or a similar product is desirable. In addition, the ability to operate in a commercial environment would be a bonus.
