As Head of Service and Technology – Platforms, you’ll take ownership of the technical roadmap for operations. We’ll look to you to make sure a full portfolio of technology products are successfully maintained, enabling the high availability that’s essential to the work we and our customers do. Leading a number of multi-disciplined operational teams, you’ll champion strong customer service, delivered with a deep understanding of customer need, exceptional responsiveness and commitment to quality.
Providing expert direction on technology and implementation, and taking the lead on service transition activities, you’ll ensure we’re always future-ready. This will include consulting on change and service priorities with senior customer stakeholders. You’ll also shape continuous evolution and improvement through people, by playing a proactive part in coaching and developing your teams to do an ever-better job of work that really matters. In return, we’ll support your own ongoing professional development.
Champion service and technology excellence in a field where the stakes are always high
An experienced manager, you’ve operated at a strategic level with ownership of products and services. You’ll bring to the role substantial experience of monitoring tools, operating systems and applications, and general networking and remote-working technologies. Your skillset spans asset and configuration management, availability and capacity management, continuity management, incident management, change management, and continual service improvement. Always focused on the user and their experience, you are a problem solver with a flair for fostering professional relationships. Crucially, you have the communication skills and collaborative spirit to build bridges between the technical and non-technical.
