Senior Engineer Infrastructure Operations - Wintel

Fix complex infrastructure at pace in a busy working Environment.

As a subject matter expert in your chosen area, you’ll be asked to solve more complex technical problems, providing resolution and guidance on various issues. The job involves working closely with Infrastructure colleagues, as well as Technical Architects, Project Managers, Developers and Incident Managers, in order to fix technical problems as quickly as possible. You’ll also need to identify and escalate repeatable issues to help ensure they don’t happen again.
Work to ISO 27001 / 20000 standards and policies.

You’ll be expected to mentor junior staff members and to provide authoritative technical advice to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, including members of our change management team. It is therefore essential that you combine excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of how systems work. Specific areas of knowledge we’re looking for include:

• Active Directory
• PKI
• Powershell scripting
• DFS


It goes without saying that you’ll be a subject matter expert, you’ll also hold the following qualification:

• MS Certified
• CompTIA
• CCNA Base line Network Knowledge.

Due to the nature of some of the work you’ll be involved with, there will be times when you’re required to work on-site at Hanslope park, but where possible, we will look to accommodate working from home.

This role is part of an on call rota.

Hanslope Park based posts attract a Location Allowance of £1,750 per annum.
