Fix complex infrastructure issues as quickly as possible

As a subject matter expert within our 3rd line Infrastructure team, you’ll be responsible for developing, configuring and resolving complex technical issues in your specialist area. You’ll take full ownership and provide specialist knowledge and guidance to your customers and colleagues. In addition, you’ll identify and escalate repeatable issues to help ensure they don’t happen again.

Use your expertise to benefit colleagues and customers alike

You’ll be expected to mentor junior staff members and to provide authoritative technical advice to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, including members of our change management team. It is therefore essential that you combine excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of how systems work. Specific areas of knowledge we’re looking for include:

• NetScaler
• App –V
• AppSense
• Citrix components
• MS Technologies
• Virtual Apps
• XenApp

It goes without saying that you’ll be a subject matter expert, you’ll also hold one or more the following qualifications:

• Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualisation (CCA-V)
• Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualisation (CCP-V)
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud certification (CC-VAD-CC)
• Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Microsoft Azure Certified (CC-VAD-MA)
• Citrix XenServer Certified (CC-XENSERVER)

Due to the nature of some of the work you’ll be involved with, there will be times when you’re required to work on-site at Hanslope Park, but where possible, we will look to accommodate working from home. This role does require you to join an on-call rota.

All our employees have to be security cleared to the highest level, so you’ll need to undergo a comprehensive vetting process before joining. You are able to start work with Security Check (SC) clearance, with DV being a longer-term requirement of the role. You can find out more about vetting on our website.

Our advertised process is on our website, however for this role there is an additional step where at the sifting stage there will be an initial pre-screening telephone interview via MS Teams for shortlisted candidates to determine skills

Hanslope Park based posts attract a Location Allowance of £1,750 per annum.
