Fix complex infrastructure issues as quickly as possible

As a subject matter expert in your chosen area, you’ll be asked to solve more complex technical problems, providing resolution and guidance on various issues. The job involves working closely with Infrastructure teammates, as well as Architects, Project Managers, Developers and Incident Managers, in order to fix technical problems as quickly as possible. You’ll also need to identify and escalate repeatable issues to help ensure they don’t happen again.

Use your expertise to benefit colleagues and customers alike

You’ll be expected to mentor junior staff members and to provide authoritative technical advice to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, including members of our change management team. It is therefore essential that you combine excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of how systems work. Specific areas of knowledge we’re looking for include:

• VMware components, VSAN, VSphere, VCentre, ESXi
• HLD/LLD Exposure
• Problem Solving Skills
• Problem/Incident Management

It goes without saying that you’ll be a subject matter expert, you’ll also hold the following qualification:

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

Due to the nature of some of the work you’ll be involved with, there will be times when you’re required to work on-site at Hanslope park, but where possible, we will look to accommodate working from home. This role does require you to join an on-call rota.

All our employees have to be security cleared to the highest level, so you’ll need to undergo a comprehensive vetting process before joining. You are able to start work with Security Check (SC) clearance, with DV being a longer-term requirement of the role. You can find out more about vetting on our website.
