Senior IT Service Manager

You’re a natural communicator with experience leading and influencing people. An expert in customer service management and in-depth commercial awareness. And you enjoy analysing, interrogating and evaluating data. So, have you ever considered taking your career to a global level?

As a Senior IT Service Manager, you’ll support the delivery of IT and other technical services to a portfolio of our commercial customers.

Solve issues on projects of national importance

Working closely with our Customer Delivery and Live Services teams, you’ll make sure the IT services we provide our customers meet all agreed KPIs and run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. As the link between our teams and customers, you’ll be the first point of call when it comes to resolving any service issues that arise on critical, high-profile projects. You’ll build key relationships across FCDO Services, with product owners, service desk professionals and other technical experts behind the scenes. And, of course, you’ll shape and manage our relationships with customers too, identifying growth opportunities and driving service improvements wherever you can. In everything you do, you’ll be easy to work with, reliable, responsive and great at building relationships.

With extensive service delivery management experience, you’ll play a pivotal role in our customer relationships. Internally, you’ll inject real energy into the team, ensuring technical colleagues continue to deliver the highest level of service. Externally, you’ll draw on your excellent IT and relationship management skills to help us deliver the best possible customer service. Plus, you’ll be a translator between technical teams and non-technical customers. That’s why you’ve got a thorough understanding of IT products and processes thanks to your ITIL v4 qualification.
