Finance Transaction Support Officer

Our customers look to FCDO Services to keep information, assets and people safe all around the world. By providing expert advice and guidance at the heart of our operation, you’ll help us do just that.

There’s more to this role than just numbers
Switching between billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable, you’ll be a key member of the team. Billing will see you setting up and maintaining projects, at the same time as releasing revenue and invoicing our customer on our secure system. The second, accounts receivable, is all about issuing customer invoices, communicating with them by telephone and email to secure payments and monitoring payments. Accounts payable will see you arranging a wide range of supplier payments. Either way, attention to detail and accuracy is vital, as all functions have a significant impact on our financial and commercial performance. But it’s not all about processing. You’ll resolve issues too, while answering queries from, and building relationships with, suppliers and colleagues throughout FCDO Services.

You can work with people as well as spreadsheets
Relevant experience would be an asset, but it’s not essential. We’re more interested in your numerical ability, customer service skills and positive, proactive approach. Your ability to handle and interpret data will prove invaluable, as will your confidence in dealing with others and working in a team. You must also be a tactful communicator with an understanding of Excel.

And you’re looking to build for the future
At FCDO Services, we keep information, assets and people safe all around the world. Our clients, who include the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, look to us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their ever-changing security challenges. This gives every job here added significance. And once in our team, you will find plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and study for financial qualifications.

All our employees have to be security cleared before being appointed, so you will need to undergo a vetting process as part of your application. This role requires you to go through Security Check (SC) clearance. You can find out more about vetting on our website.
