Fix complex infrastructure issues as quickly as possible

As a subject matter expert within our 3rd line team, you’ll be responsible for solving the more complex technical problems and incidents that other engineers are unable to work out. The job involves working closely with Infrastructure teammates, as well as architects, project managers, developers and incident managers, in order to fix technical problems as quickly as possible. You will also need to identify and escalate repeatable issues to help ensure they do not happen again.

Use your expertise to benefit colleagues and customers alike

You’ll be expected to mentor junior staff members and to provide authoritative technical advice to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, including members of our change management team. It is therefore essential that you combine excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of how systems work. Specific areas of knowledge we’re looking for include:

• HLD/LLD Design exposure
• vSphere
• vRealise
• ESXi

Due to the nature of some of the work you’ll be involved with, there will be times when you’re required to work on-site at Hanslope park, but where possible, we will look to accommodate working from home. This role is also part of an on-call rota.
