HR Advisor (Systems & MI)

(12 month fixed-term contract)

You’re an HR or systems professional, with an eye for detail and accomplished in Excel and service reporting . You’re enthusiastic and inquisitive, with the ability to translate data into actionable insight. Now try applying those skills on a whole new scale. At FCDO Services, we provide secure construction, digital and logistics services to government-level customers – and help to keep people, information and assets safe right across the globe. In other words, your work will mean a lot more here.

This is an exciting time to get involved, too. We’re implementing a new Oracle cloud-based system, so you’ll be at the heart of supporting change across the whole HR team.

Support a system that supports the organisation
During this 12 month contract, you’ll support this team’s work to update documentation and policies, and undertake data cleansing, data migrations, UAT and the training that comes with this system change. In fact, you’ll support our whole organisation through this transformation. From overseeing the maintenance of the HR systems and ensuring accurate data, to training users, producing reports and highlighting trends, you’ll make sure this period of change runs smoothly and effectively. And, after this initial transformation is complete, you’ll help us with the recruitment part of our system.

Put your skills to use in a way that really matters
As a super-user, or someone with experience of managing a similar change programme, you’ll bring with you an understanding of specialist software systems and databases, exceptional analysis skills and excellent attention to detail. You’ll be confident working with technology and explaining it to others – and have great organisational skills that will help you (and us) deliver on time. What’s more, a drive for quality comes naturally in whatever you do: you’re always focused on customer service – on building relationships and being reliable, responsive, and easy to work with.

Provide team support and find support to take your career higher
You’ll be working on HR linked systems that will transform the way we work. But how will we help you in return? You’ll have opportunities to broaden your professional skills, stay up to date with best practice, and explore the latest technologies. You’ll also enjoy great benefits here, including, an on-site nursery, a Civil Service pension, and more. Flexible working is also a core part of our offer here at FCDO Services. The introduction of our hybrid working model also means that where possible, and based on business need, you’ll be able to split your time between working on-site at Hanslope Park and from home. And finally, there’s that sense of purpose you’ll feel every day – because you’ll be using your skills to support a business that helps protect people, information and assets across the globe. In short, it’s your job, bigger.
