Talent and Development Business Partner

Governments rely on us to keep their information, assets and people safe. To achieve this, we deliver work that presents unique technical, logistical and security challenges. And this makes our people challenges unique too. Our work is far-reaching, ambitious and trusted by governments all over the world. You’ll provide us with the tools we need to deliver it, as you provide our people with the support and development opportunities so that they perform and progress. And as they advance, so will you.

You’ll help us achieve more for our customers
The needs of our customers are constantly changing and we strive to evolve our skills to meet those needs. You’ll help our colleagues do just that. Bringing practical experience in Talent and Development (T&D), you’ll work with your team to ensure the smooth management of our T&D strategy. You’ll develop, deliver and implement key projects across the organisation. You’ll promote opportunities. You’ll monitor and review policy and budgets. And in everything you do, you’ll be driven to provide the best possible service for our customers, every time.

You’re an expert in developing expert skills
Our day-to-day work poses unique and varied challenges, so expertise is vital in every department and every role. Senior colleagues will look to you to provide critical advice that helps us achieve our objectives. That means that as well as brilliant interpersonal skills, you’ll need a proven track record in designing outstanding talent management programmes. Ideally you’ll also come to us with relevant CIPD or other T&D qualifications, or a recognised coaching qualification. Skill with the Microsoft Office suite is also essential, and you’ll demonstrate a strong understanding of both budgetary management and managing T&D suppliers.

And you’re ready for the biggest challenge of your career
At FCDO Services, we keep information, assets and people safe all around the world. The projects we deliver have a tangible, worldwide impact – and you’ll help ensure our people respond with speed and agility to the ever-changing challenges we face. As an integral part of our organisation, you’ll develop learning opportunities that have impact in any location, and ultimately guide our people in becoming the best that they can be.

All our employees have to be security cleared before joining us, so you will need to undergo a vetting process if you’re successful in your application. This role would require you to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance. You can find out more about vetting on our website.
