Working alongside our 15 strong IT applications team, you’ll be overseeing the service tool we use to get all this done. Which means your role will have an enormous impact here with us – and you’ll be helping to safeguard people, assets and information around the world.

Deliver software solutions that transform Government

Your job will be to help develop, improve and update the service management tool we use to manage and sort requests that come into our team. So, you’ll be pivotal in transforming the way we work – and the way our stakeholders do too. You’ll speed up the process of fixing issues, fulfilling requests, simplifying the roles of our teams – much of which is done manually at the moment. With your help, we’ll be able to give more autonomy to our internal stakeholders and to ensure a far greater level of efficiency for them too.

Share your expertise at the very highest levels

From writing clean secure code, following a test-driven approach within a SDLC framework, to ensuring that code is open by default and easy for others to reuse, you’ll have a direct impact on the working lives of senior stakeholders and management across all government departments. You’ll have direct contact with these people too – advising on complex challenges, delivering innovative technical solutions, and teaching them to use this new system on a daily basis. It means that strong communication skills are just as important as your excellent analytical and technical knowledge. An extensive knowledge of ITSM Tool ServiceNow is an absolute essential.
