At FCDO Services (formerly known as FCO Services), we provide secure construction, digital and logistics services to all sorts of government-level customers, including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Our projects are both vital and wide-ranging: everything from rewiring a centuries-old embassy to building secure communication sites overseas.

That’s why, as one of our electricians, the installations you’ll be involved with will just mean more. They’ll help protect the UK’s interests around the world. They’ll be geographically and technically diverse. And, above all, they’ll keep people, assets and information safe.

This role offers a truly global platform for your technical and leadership skills. Working across the UK and in overseas missions worldwide, you’ll tackle everything from designing and planning electrical works to installing lighting, power and security systems. This will see you leading and advising teams working on new builds, refurbishments, upgrades and maintenance projects. Ideally, you’ve worked with systems such as fire alarms, air conditioning, lighting and security in secure settings before. It would also be an advantage if you have experience of operating overseas in different environments.

Stretch your abilities and perform at an international standard

Our customers look to us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their ever-changing security challenges. So we’ll expect a lot from you – but we’ll give you plenty in return too.
