Apprenticeship Advisor

6 month fixed term contract opportunity

The work we do at FCDO Services (formally FCO Services) is hugely varied and often of national importance. Join us, in this key role, and you can help ensure we have the skilled people we need to meet the ever-changing security challenges our clients face.

Keep our apprenticeship schemes running smoothly
This key role involves providing high-quality administrative support to an Assistant Apprenticeship Manager and two Apprenticeship Managers and occasionally help other colleagues within the wider HR team when required. Your focus will be on producing accurate management information, organising events and assisting with finance and levy management. You will also get involved with setting up new programmes that meet our evolving needs, help recruit new apprentices to FCDO Services, and will continue to act as a role model for them when they join.

Take your project management skills to the next level
With strong organisational and planning skills, and good knowledge of Excel, you will be able to track finances across schemes and prepare key information needed for levy audits. The role involves liaising with individuals inside and outside FCDO Services, including many of the apprentices themselves, so you’ll need to be a confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with all kinds of people. You’ll also be involved in setting up and delivering assessment centres and recruitment fairs.

And see your career grow and grow
The work we do at FCDO Services makes every job a significant one. Yours included. In return for helping us recruit and develop a new generation of talent, we can help you develop your career too. We offer excellent training opportunities along with the chance to continue building your experience on other projects. Although initially a fixed-term role, it may subsequently be offered on a permanent basis. In which case, there would be opportunities for career development and progression.

All our employees have to be security cleared before joining us, so you will need to undergo a vetting process if you’re successful in your application. This role would require you to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance. You can find out more about vetting on our website.
