You’ll be right at the heart of that in this Microsoft Office 365 Engineer Operations role – preparing and supporting our physical and virtual services by building relationships with customers and shaping the team around you.

Be known for technical expertise, with international impact
We’re building something new with this team, bringing in more skilled people on a permanent basis, so that we can create a strong internal team and culture. Together, we’ll provide a user-focused service for both internal customers, such as government relations teams and project managers, and external customers.

What’s more, you’ll use your strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 to take ownership of incidents and, by applying your advanced troubleshooting skills, you’ll make sure that our operational procedures are applied correctly and that changes are efficient and effective. You’ll also provide proposals for improvement to specialists, users and managers – translating technical information in a way that helps to build trust, and is both useful and persuasive. Your primary focus will be Exchange Online, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Teams, so previous experience with Microsoft PowerApps would be beneficial.

Bring natural team-building and customer-service skills
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, client-focused, has an eagle eye for detail. Not to mention that having confidence in developing services or programmes and understanding what it takes to deliver daily IT projects effectively is vital. There are some specific technical skills required too: Powershell/Scripting, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, InTune, Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online.

Alongside this, you’ll need to enjoy interacting with others, be approachable and, in the same breath, be confident in challenging people and ideas. After all, you’ll be joining our team of professionals who are responsible for the design, implementation and support of Microsoft’s modern workplace.
