Account Manager - UK MOD Strategic Command

At FCDO Services, we provide secure construction, logistics and digital solutions to government organisations around the world. Our customers expect us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their ever-changing security challenges – and we’re always looking for ways to ensure our services are more closely aligned with their needs. And our customer base is constantly growing, with every day bringing different projects - from building embassies to providing governments with secure WiFi.

Join us as an Account Manager, and you’ll find yourself at the heart of our work with the UK MOD Strategic Command. This is a key role with a unique client, so ideally, you’ll come from a military background to help you hit the ground running.

From day one, you’ll put your experience to excellent use, as you help oversee the development and delivery of worldwide plans. Plus, you’ll drive the delivery of each customer experience and help make FCDO Services a more customer-centric business than ever before. Please note, this role can be based either in London or Hanslope Park, near Milton Keynes, depending on the successful candidate’s preference, however, travel will be required between the two sites when required.

Build relationships on a global scale
You’ll work closely with Strategic Command to build our already strong relationship even further. You’ll establish new connections with key stakeholders, manage resources, liaise with the marketing team on product strategy and channels, and provide expert advice for major campaigns. A big part of your role will be to ensure buy-in from for the wide range of people involved - so your understanding of their needs and the military environment is going to prove absolutely essential.
Manage customers at the highest levels
Taking strategic ownership of this high-profile account, you’ll have the autonomy to lead on its direction as well as to take day-to-day decisions. So, as well as your military or Strategic Command background, you’ll need the confidence to work alone and to make business judgements. Your commitment to reliable and responsive service and your talent for influencing customers, will all become everyday essentials too.

Look forward to your best achievements yet

You will be part of a rapidly evolving team here, that has an impact across the entire organisation. Of course, with this rare kind of exposure, it goes without saying that your success will be rewarded with superb opportunities for progression. Because your impact will be worldwide, your outlook is too.

All our employees have to be security cleared so you will need to undergo a comprehensive vetting process before joining.
