Senior Engineer Infrastructure Operations - Monitoring

Fix complex infrastructure issues as quickly as possible

As a subject matter expert within our 3rd line team, you’ll be responsible for solving the more complex technical problems and incidents that other engineers are unable to work out. The job involves working closely with Infrastructure teammates, as well as architects, project managers, developers and incident managers, in order to fix technical problems as quickly as possible. You will also need to identify and escalate repeatable issues to help ensure they do not happen again.

Use your expertise to benefit colleagues and customers alike

You’ll be expected to mentor junior staff members and to provide authoritative technical advice to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, including members of our change management team. It is therefore essential that you combine excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of how systems work. Specific areas of knowledge we’re looking for include:

During COVID-19 the onsite working rota for this role is 2 weeks onsite and 8 weeks remote working, post COVID-19 the role will be based full time at Hanslope Park. This role is also part of an on-call rota.

All our employees have to be security cleared before joining us, so you will need to undergo a vetting process if you’re successful in your application. This role would require you to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance. You can find out more about vetting on our website.

Hanslope Park based posts attract a Location Allowance of £1,750 per annum.
