Admin Support Assistant - Security Compliance

Ready to apply your knowledge of security compliance to a worldwide network? If you’re able to analyse trends, keep colleagues up to speed, and provide assurance across a range of security requirements, then we could have just the role for you.

FCDO Services provides construction, technology and logistics services to governments and institutions around the world. Security is our absolute priority, whether that’s keeping our customers’ details safe, or ensuring everyone within our organisation follows our procedures. Based in the UK, our work has a truly global impact. As a Security Compliance Officer, you’ll contribute to making sure processes are followed and our services run smoothly at home and overseas. .

Deliver security assurance across the organisation – and the world

A professional and assured security service is what we promise our customers. And it’s what we expect from our people, too. As someone who demands the highest levels of compliance, you’ll be responsible for implementing, maintaining and improving security standards within FCDO Services. You’ll maintain records, and oversee data accuracy and with integrity. Through security compliance processes, and educating and supporting new joiners, you’ll assist the Security Team to ensure procedures are followed – and that colleagues across the organisation are complying with our policies and processes.

Use your insights to influence our culture

The continual improvement of our procedures is vital. As someone skilled in service reporting, you’ll add your insights and findings to monthly reports using Excel. You’ll have an eye for detail and experience of working to deadlines, so you’ll provide accurate stats, evidence of compliance and explanations for any anomalies with clarity and conviction. In doing so, you’ll help influence initiatives and enhance our security culture.

You’ll act as the point of contact for the team with other parts of FCDO Services from HR to business support. So of course, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to resolve issues quickly and build collaborative relationships.

Improve our security services – and your own abilities

A career with FCDO Services is like no other. Your IT skills, head for analysis and conscientious approach will have a tangible impact on one of the most respected and reliable organisations in the world. Your knowledge will help to transform our services. And you’ll be someone who always looks to improve your own skills, too.

We offer extensive learning and development opportunities, so you’ll get the support you need to grow your career even further. Plus, you’ll get a competitive salary and location allowance, and an attractive pension. Not to mention access to our excellent facilities at Hanslope Park as part of your hybrid working arrangement.

So, whether you’re ensuring data compliance, keeping our network up-to-date with security guidance, or recommending new initiatives - you’ll enjoy a challenging, rewarding role with global impact. It’s your job, bigger.

All our employees have to be security cleared before being appointed, so you will need to undergo a vetting process as part of your application. This role requires you to go through Security Clearance (SC). You can find out more about vetting on our website.
