Senior Engineer Infrastructure Operations - Networks

Fix complex infrastructure issues as quickly as possible

As a subject matter expert within our 3rd line team, you’ll be responsible for solving the more complex technical problems and incidents for which supporting teams require your expertise to help remediate. The job involves working closely within your Infrastructure team, as well as architects, project managers, developers and wider stakeholders, in order to fix technical problems as quickly as possible. You will also need to identify root cause and escalate repeatable issues to help ensure they do not happen again.

Use your expertise to benefit colleagues and customers alike

You’ll be expected to mentor junior staff members and to provide authoritative technical advice to a wide range of customers and stakeholders, including members of our change management team. It is therefore essential that you combine excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of how systems work. Specific areas of skils and knowledge we’re looking for include:

Cisco CCNP/CCIE
Palo Alto Certified
F5 Certified
SDN ACI deployment experience
Knowledge of Palo Alto
F5 Configuration and Support
Cisco IOS Operating Systems
SDN ACI deployment expeirence

This role is part of an on call rota.

All our employees have to be security cleared before joining us, so you will need to undergo a vetting process if you’re successful in your application. This role would require you to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. You can find out more about vetting on out website.
